This 42nd bottling is crafted from Loch’s pale malt bill—originally developed for their core beer range—and bottled at a bold yet smooth 48% alc/vol, considered the optimum drinking strength. Expect a beautifully balanced spirit with gentle vanilla, toasted oak, and malt-forward depth.
Each release from Loch is completely unique. By distilling three distinct beer malt profiles into whisky, and ageing them in carefully chosen casks, the team ensures that no two batches are the same. This innovative approach—producing single malts from matching ale malt bills brewed and distilled onsite—is believed to be a world first.
